Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Day1

Day 1

....Where am I?
….Is this a dream?
I can feel a pleasant breeze on my face…
Someone is calling for me…Who is it?
“Hello! Excuse me! Are you okay?!” A voice called out “Please wake up!”

Slowly opening her eyes and getting up very wobbly, a Pikachu looks around at her surroundings confused. She looks and sees a Charmander next to her.

Charii: Oh! You’re wake! Glad you’re alright. I’m Charii by the way.
Ashlee: Whoa! A Charmander! And A Talking Charmander! I’ve never seen a real Charmander before! Let alone a talking one. I must have fallen asleep while playing my new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game.
Charii: Uh…You’re pretty weird for a Pikachu
Ashlee: W-What?!

The Pikachu runs towards a small pond and looks at her reflection

Ashlee: WHAAA!!!
Ashlee’s Mind: I-It’s true!! I’m a Pikachu!! B-But it can’t be! P-Pokemon aren’t real! How is this happening to me?!!
Charii: Hey you look pale, Are you okay?
Ashlee: M-Me? Oh I’m fine! B-But listen! I-I am not a Pokemon! I’m a Human!

Charii stared at the Pikachu confused then laughs

Charii: HA! HA! HA! That’s a good one! Human! So what’s your name? What do you call yourself?
Ashlee: Me? Oh! I’m Ashlee!
Charii: Uh-Huh…Ashlee…That’s a funny name!

Ashlee shakes her head in disbelief then all of a sudden a shriek for help echoes through the forest.
???: Somebody help me!!
Ashlee: Huh?
Charii: Eh? Did you hear that?

Then flying over to Ashlee and Charii was a Buterfree and she looked really distraught.

Charii: What’s wrong?
Buterfree: It’s Horrible! My Caterpie fell into a Cavern! My poor Baby!
Charii: WHAT?!!
Buterfree: A huge fissure opened in the ground and my Caterpie fell in! He’s too young to crawl out! When I went to get my baby, Pokemon suddenly attacked me!
Charii: Huh?! You were attacked by other Pokemon?!
Buterfree: They must be enraged by the fissure and caused them to go out of control! That’s what I think anyway. I’m not strong enough to fend off those wild Pokemon! What will become of my baby? Whaaa!!

Buterfree started crying worrying about her Caterpie.

Charii: Ashlee! We can’t just sit around and do nothing!
Ashlee: I agree! Let’s help that kid!

Charii runs off followed closely by Ashlee.

Tiny Woods 1F

Ashlee and Charii enter the Tiny Woods Dungeon and set off to find Caterpie.

Ashlee: Whoa! Kind of dark in here!
Charii: Let’s be careful! The enraged Pokemon Buterfree mentioned earlier may attack us on the way to get Buterfree back
Ashlee: Oh sure no problem. But how do I defend myself considering I’m HUMAN?!
Charii: …Are you sure you weren’t dreaming it Ashlee?
Ashlee’s Mind: Great! He doesn’t believe me!

Ashlee bites on her nails nervously as she and Charii continued their way through the Dungeon.
Charii: Look! Over there!

Charii finds a set of dirt stairs that take you below.

Charii: I bet if we go down we might find Caterpie!
Ashlee: I agree. Who knows how far Caterpie fell from the fissure. Those things are nasty!
Charii: Don’t I know. Come on! No time to lose!

Ashlee and Charii make their way down the stairs.

Tiny Woods B2F

Finally reaching the bottom of the stair way Ashlee and Charii are suddenly attacked by an enraged Pidgey.

Ashlee: Whaaa!!
Charii: Heads up! Here come the angry Pokemon!

The Pidgey dives at the two again with Quick Attack and Charii counters with a Scratch Attack. Ashlee hides behind a rock.

Charii: Ashlee! I need your help! Give it a Thundershock!
Ashlee: B-But how?! I dunno how to do Thundershock!
Charii: What?!! You don’t know?!!
Ashlee: I keep on telling you! I’m Human!!
Charii: L-Look out!!

Ashlee suddenly turns around and the Pidgey was heading straight for her

Ashlee: AHHH!!!
Charii: Hold on!!

Charii dives in and takes the hit and faints.

Ashlee: Charii!! No! Hang on!! You gotta wake up!

Ashlee tries to get Charii to wake up but the Pidgey was diving straight at her again with another Quick Attack.

Ashlee: WHHAAAAAAAA!!!

Ashlee then suddenly blacks out.

Back outside Buterfree is trying to wake up Ashlee and Charii.

Buterfree: Are you two okay? Wake up!

Ashlee and Charii both get up wobbly and are both confused.

Ashlee: W-What happened?
Buterfree: You two were knocked out on the Basement 2nd floor when I heard your screams outside. I got you out. But only just. What am I gonna do about my Caterpie!!
Charii: This was my fault Buterfree. I’m sorry we couldn’t get your Caterpie out.
Ashlee: Huh?!
Ashlee’s Mind: Why is Charii taking the blame? It was my fault! Infact…He even took a hit to keep me up. And all because I can’t do a Thundershock! A Simple attack for a Pikachu!
Ashlee: …No. It was my fault Buterfree.
Charii: Ashlee?!
Ashlee: I was scared and I didn’t know what to do. I usually don’t like fights…But that doesn’t mean I should give up!

Ashlee’s round red cheeks started to spark.

Ashlee’s Mind: Hey! I’m doing it! I’m sparking! Maybe I DO know how to do attacks!
Ashlee: Charii! Let’s go back into that dungeon and get Caterpie outta there!
Charii: Right on Ashlee! Let’s go!!

Ashlee and Charii head back to the Tiny Woods Dungeon with haste and determination.

Buterfree: Please be careful this time!

Tiny Woods B2F

Ashlee and Charii made their way back to where they last reached and are suddenly attacked by the very same Pidgey.

Charii: Here it comes again!
Ashlee: I’ve got it this time!

Ashlee runs towards the Pidgey and starts to spark.

Ashlee: I’m not the same as I used to be feather brain! And I know for a fact you’re weak against electric attacks! THUNDERSHOCK ATTACK!!!

Ashlee then suddenly lets off a large surge of electricity and struck the Pidgey down with one shot.

Ashlee: I did it!
Charii: Great shot Ashlee!
Ashlee: Okay! Now that I got a hang of things now, let’s go get Caterpie!
Charii: Right!

The two continued their way through the rest of the dungeon attacking opponents, looking out for each other’s back and picking up useful items that helped one another during their search. Until finally they found Caterpie crying.

Caterpie: Whaaa!! Mummy! Where are you Mummy?!! Sniff.

Ashlee and Charii approach the little Caterpie.

Ashlee: Hey there little buddy! We’ve been looking all over for you! We’ve come to rescue you!
Caterpie: H-Huh?
Charii: Your mum is waiting for you outside. Let’s get you outta here.
Caterpie: Okay!

Back outside Buterfree was reunited with her baby Caterpie, and Ashlee and Charii could not help but smile.

Buterfree: My baby is safe! I’m sorry for putting you two through so much!
Ashlee: Nah! Don’t worry about it. It was nothing.
Charii: Yeah. I mean there’ve been a lot of earthquakes and fissures lately. It’s a good thing your little guy is not hurt.
Buterfree: May I have your names at least please?
Charii: Sure. I’m Charii. And this is Ashlee.

Caterpie looks at Ashlee and Charii with its eyes twinkling with admiration.

Caterpie: Wow! Cool!
Ashlee’s Mind: What’s with the stare? It’s like I got him an Ice cream or somethin’.  It’s a tad embarrassing…But it actually makes me kinda feel good! I’m like a hero!
Caterpie: Thankyou Charii and Ashlee!
Buterfree: I know it isn’t much but please take these as a token of our thanks.

Buterfree gives Ashlee and Charii an Oran Berry, a Pecha Berry and a Rawst Berry

Buterfree: Again thankyou so much. Goodbye!

Buterfree and Caterpie head off back to their home and Ashlee and Charii waved them goodbye.

Charii: See ya!!
Ashlee: Take care!! Bye!!

Ashlee rubs her furry forehead in relief.

Ashlee: Phew! What a day!
Charii: Hey thanks for coming to help me. It started out a little rickety but I think we both did okay.
Ashlee: Yeah. We both did okay back there huh?
Charii: So uhh…What are you gonna do now?
Ashlee: Umm……….
Ashlee’s Mind: Uh-Oh! I can’t sleep outside! But I don’t have a home!
Charii: I know! If you don’t have a place to stay I have somewhere you can stay at! Come on! Follow me!

A few minutes later and Ashlee and Charii arrive at a small hut in a really pretty area with lush grass and flowers and even, which surprised Ashlee, a Mail box.

Charii: Here we are!
Ashlee: Wow! It’s so beautiful!!
Ashlee’s mind: I can’t believe how happy I am! I’m a human…But I really, really like this place! Maybe it’s an instinct thing. Makes me want to wag my lightning bolt shaped tail!

Ashlee looks over her shoulder and notices that she is indeed wagging her tail.

Ashlee’s mind: …Which I’m doing at the moment.
Charii: You’re really impressed huh Ashlee? I knew you’d like it! See this mailbox?
Ashlee: Yeah?
Charii: This is where you get mail sent from other Pokemon.
Ashlee’s mind: Wow! I didn’t know Pokemon actually lived like this! This is so wild!
Charii: Hey Ashlee! You know that fissure Caterpie fell into.
Ashlee: Yeah?
Charii: Well there’ve been other natural disasters like that happening all of a sudden. A lot of Pokemon are injured from these disasters. I wanna help Pokemon like that! I want to make this world a safer place for others!
Ashlee: That’s great Charii! Pokemon need others like you to help them.
Charii: I knew you’d understand Ashlee! Because I think you’re really capable of doing it yourself as well after seeing you rescue Caterpie!
Ashlee: Oh! Thanks!
Charii: How would you like to from a rescue team with me Ashlee?!
Ashlee: A-A rescue team? Y-You mean like going out and helping those like Caterpie?
Charii: Yeah! You and me as a rescue team! I think we could be the world’s greatest team ever! So what do you say?
Ashlee: Ummm…SURE!! Why not!

Ashlee replied happily with excitement.

Charii: Great! Starting right now you and I are gonna be partners in our rescue team!
Ashlee: Yeah!! Awesome! We need a cool team name! Something like Hero Flash or something!
Charii: You know that has a nice ring to it! I like it!
Ashlee: Really?! ‘Cause I think it suits us!
Charii: Alright! Rescue Team Hero Flash will officially start tomorrow! Let’s do our best!
Ashlee: YEAH!!!

Ashlee and Charii loudly cheer into the afternoon sky with their right hands raised high into the air looking into the horizon.

And that is how Ashlee and Charii began their careers together as a rescue team.
